KEY POINTS:
New Zealand golfer Michael Campbell has slipped further down the world rankings following last week's disappointing effort in the BMW PGA Championship in England.
Campbell has dropped eight spots to 74th place after missing the cut in the European Tour's flagship event.
It was the third successive event that Campbell has sat out the weekend rounds and he will look to end his poorest run of form since winning the 2005 US Open in the Wales Open which begins on Thursday.
Americans Tiger Woods, Phil Mickleson and Jim Furyk hold the top three spots in the rankings.
