COLOGNE - Michael Campbell's embarrassing downturn in form will see him again hit off in the first group on the final day of the Mercedes-Benz Championship in Cologne.
Campbell was first out on day three and retained his second-last place standing in the Euro 2m event after carding a 76 for a 16-over par tally on the Gut-Larcenhof course.
Only unheralded Thailand's S S P Chowrasia, who won last year's Indian Masters, has played poorer.
Chowrasia carded a 74 for an 18-over par tally.
Campbell had just one birdie in his round, at the par five 15th but then also had five bogeys.
After lunch, the former US Open winner headed to the practice range but he was keen also to avoid the South African contingent headed by last year's US Masters winning hero, Trevor Immelman.
Immelman was looking to collect on a Tri-Nations final bet he had with the New Zealander.
"Cambo owes me 20 quid," said Immelman, who carded a 72 to remain at level par for the championship.
"But don't worry because I will find him. I will find him."
New Zealander Mark Brown will be teeing-off in the second group on day four in Cologne after a third round 75 for a nine-under par tally.
