KEY POINTS:
Michael Campbell's resurgence has been reflected in the latest world golf rankings.
The New Zealander has improved 76 places to 253rd in the updated rankings released yesterday.
It represents another significant advance for the 2005 US Open champion, who slipped outside the top 400 early last month.
Three top-10 finishes in his last four outings on the European Tour have turned around Campbell's fortunes.
He tied for eighth in the Dutch Open, tied for 10th in the Johnnie Walker Championship in Scotland and yesterday came third equal in the Mercedes-Benz Championship in Germany.
Campbell, who challenged for a top-10 ranking in 2005 after winning the US Open and World Matchplay Championship, endured miserable seasons in 2006 and 2007 before slowly turning things around this year.
Mark Brown, a two-time winner on the Asian Tour this season, remains only New Zealander in the world's top 100 at 87th.
