New Zealand golfer Michael Campbell is poised just off the pack in the US Open at Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Campbell shot a one over 71 to finish the third round tied for fourth place, with Australia's Mark Hensby.
Defending champion South African Retief Goosen has a three-shot lead over relative unknown Jason Gore and US PGA Tour journeyman Olin Browne.
Goosen leads Campbell by four shots, one under par.
Campbell had three birdies, including chipping in from a bunker on the 17th, and four bogeys.
He's two shots ahead of Tiger Woods -- in a tie for seventh -- with world No 1 Vijay Singh further back.
