KEY POINTS:
A disastrous second round of five over meant New Zealand's top golfer Michael Campbell missing the cut at the 89th US PGA Championship at Southern Hills in Tulsa.
Campbell started the day in the blistering heat at four over but bogeyed the first two holes and then the fifth hole.
There was one birdie on the par five 13th hole, but bogeys at the 10th, 16th and 18th put the nail in the coffin for the 38-year-old who left the course in a hurry refusing to speak to any media.
The round of 75 to go with his first of 74 ends the majors for the year and leaves a record of missing the cut at four of the eight regulation PGA Tour events this year.
