New Zealand golfer Ben Campbell has finished in a share of 29th place at the Sahalee Players Championship in Washington after carding an even par 72 at the final round.
Campbell carded rounds of 75, 74, 76 and 72 at the Sahalee Country Club to finish 18 shots back from the American Ben Geyer on a nine over par total.
Royal Auckland golfer Fraser Wilkin, who won the Muriwai Open on the Charles Tour in May, finished in a share of 54th place.
Also in the States, Ashburton golfer Daniel Pearce has missed the cut at the North and South Amateur. Pearce signed for rounds of 73, 74 and 77 to finish in a share of 60th place.
All three Kiwi golfers are in the States looking to impress the New Zealand selectors before they name the Eisenhower team for the World Amateur Team's Championship in Turkey later this month.
