Michael Campbell has found some form at the European Masters at his new home of Switzerland.
Campbell climbed 21 places to a share of 25th place after a four under par 67 on moving day at the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club.
The eight-time winner on the European Tour and former US Open champion was back to his best on the front nine. He birdied the opening hole and then added an eagle two on the 296m par four sixth to jump to three under. Campbell added another birdie at the seventh and made the turn in four under.
He mixed three bogeys and three birdies on the back nine to sign for a 67 and a three-round total of four under par. He will begin the final round seven shots back from Scotland's Richie Ramsay who leads by one on an 11 under par total.
Campbell, who made the cut for only the fifth time in 2012, is looking to beat his best finish for the season when he placed tied 11th at the French Open.
