Kiwi golfer Michael Campbell will finally return to competitive golf this week.
Campbell's coach Jonathan Yarwood has confirmed the former US Open champion will play in the European Tour's Abu Dhabi Championship - the last tournament he competed in a year ago.
Campbell has missed the last 12 months of golf due to ongoing injuries.
In that time he's slipped more than 1000 places in the world golf rankings to 1408th.
