Former US Open champion Michael Campbell is still in contention at the halfway stage Abu Dhabi Championship on the European Tour.
Campbell, who carded a three under par 69 in his first round for 2013 to be in a share of fifth place, backed it up with a one under par 71 in round two to be tied seventh.
He will begin round three four shots back from England's Justin Rose, who followed leads the tournament by one shot with Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy both missing the cut.
Campbell played the front nine in one under par, before losing his way with bogeys on the 13th and 14th and finishing with consecutive birdies on 17 and 18 to sign for a 71.
It is a continuation of the comeback to form Campbell showed in 2012, when he recorded a third place finish in Portugal and a tie for eighth in Hong Kong.
