Michael Campbell has a new lease of life on the golf course following Darren Clarke's British Open success.
Campbell's tied for second after the first round of the Irish Open, storming home with three birdies and an eagle over the last four holes to finish with a five under 66.
Campbell's three shots behind the leader, India's Jeev Milkha Singh.
Campbell says he is motivated by British Open winner Darren Clarke winning a major at 42.
He says he is the same age as Clarke so it's a motivational point for him.
