Battling New Zealand golfer Michael Campbell is five shots off the lead after his first round at the latest European Tour event in Morocco.
Campbell led the field on five under at one stage before dropping late shots to card a three under par 69 at the Hassan II Trophy in Agadir.
He's currently tied for 12th with Ireland's Peter Lawrie leading the way after shooting an eight-under 64.
Campbell hasn't won a tournament since 2005 or recorderd a top-10 finish on the European Tour since September 2008.
"I can take a lot of confidence from this score as it's been a real struggle for me the last couple of years, struggling with injuries and what-not," he told NZPA.
Kiwi Mark Brown carded a two-over 74.
