Ladies European Tour veteran Lynette Brooky shares third place after the opening round of golf's Deloitte Ladies Open at Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
The New Zealander, a long-time LET regular, mixed five birdies with two bogeys and a double bogey at the Golfclub Broekpolder layout to sign for a one-under par 71, four shots off the pace set by Englishwoman Holly Aitchison, who fired a five-under 67.
She leads the tournament by two strokes from Italian Diana Luna, with Brooky and seven other players a further two shots adrift in third.
Rookie New Zealand professional Caroline Bon was a mixed bag with four birdies, three bogeys and three triple bogeys in her five-over par 77, which puts her in a share of 65th in the 127-strong field.
Bon missed out on earning her full card for the 2011 LET season after finishing 55th at the final stage of qualifying school in Spain in December but she has already played in four tournaments this season and was handed a wildcard for this event thanks to her Dutch heritage - she has Dutch parents and holds dual nationality.
