New Zealander Lynnette Brooky continued her fine season in Europe with another top-10 result yesterday.
Brooky finished in a share of eighth place in the English Open at Chart Hills.
It was her sixth top-10 result from nine events this season.
She closed with a final round of two-under 70 for a 54-hole total of seven-under 209, five shots from the winner, Sweden's Maria Hjorth.

Meanwhile, New Zealand professionals Richard Squire and Clarke Osborne missed out on final qualifying for this week's British Open after wrapping up play on two courses in Scotland.
Squire finished with a two-under 142 for the 36-hole qualifier at Scotscraig, eight shots off the pace, and Osborne shot a three-over 147 at Leven Links, 13 shots from the top.
They were among 386 players chasing 12 spots in the final field.

Sir Bob Charles finished in a share of 12th in the Nigel Mansell Seniors Classic at his Woodbury Park Country Club in Devon. Charles shot a final round of two-over 74 for a 54-hole total of even-par 216.

At the PGA Tour's John Deere Classic in Illinois, New Zealand's Michael Long finished in a share of 40th on seven-under 277.

Tauranga amateur Josh Geary found form in the US, finishing in a share of third in the Rice Planters Amateur in South Carolina.
The final round was completely washed out after a thunderstorm, with Geary at eight-under after 54 holes and travelling partner Brad Iles in a share of 34th place on even par.

And in Canada, Nick Davey finished 29th equal in the latest Canada PGA Tour event in Winnipeg. He fired a final round of one-under 70 for a 72-hole total of four-over 288.
