Brooks Koepka joined elite company by winning the PGA Championship on Monday (AEST) at Bethpage Black, fighting off the yips on the back nine to clinch a two-stroke victory over Dustin Johnson.
The win — which came after Koepka entered the final round with a seven-stroke lead — saw him join Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson as the only players in the last 30 years to have won majors in three consecutive years.
But it was remarkably tense from the get-go.
The Florida native showed he was anything but relaxed on day four with a brutal rejection on his way to the first tee.
