New Zealand golfer Caroline Bon finished 55th and last of the players who made the cut for the final round at the Ladies European Tour final qualifying event in Spain today (NZT), missing out on full playing rights for next year's tour.
Northlander Bon, this year's New Zealand amateur champion, carded a fifth round six-over par 79 on the South Course at the La Manga club in Los Belones, Cartagena this morning (NZT) to finish at 20-over par for the tournament, 10 shots outside the top 30.
The top 30 players earned full playing rights for 2011, with all those who finished 31 to 55 to have restricted playing rights.
The other New Zealand hopeful, Auckland's Wendy Hawkes, failed to make the cut.
Sweden's Caroline Hedwall shot a final round 65 to finish with a 15-under total, winning the tournament by nine shots.
