Bad weather severely disrupted the second round of the Eisenhower golf tournament in Turkey with only six of the 72 teams able to complete their rounds before play was abandoned.
Play in the world amateur team championship was delayed six hours in the morning by severe thunderstorms before play got under way at 1.30pm (local time) but the weather deteriorated again around 6pm and was delayed again before eventually being called off because of darkness.
New Zealand were scheduled to tee off around midday but didn't begin their second round. They have since slipped from 15th equal to 21st as morning teams leapfrogged them.
The second round will be resume tonight (NZT).
The US, who led after the first round, had just begun their round and were 15 under. The Republic of Korea and Canada moved into second at 10 under par.
