Australian Brad Kennedy has nailed a 30-foot putt on the first playoff hole to win the New Zealand Golf Open at Clearwater.
Kennedy's beaten out compatriot Craig Parry with a par on the 18th, to take home the $94,000 winner's cheque.
Despite leading by three shots into the final round, Kennedy looked dead and buried nearing the end of his round, until Parry's capitulation off the tee on 18 in regulation, where he went into the water and had to settle for a double bogey.
New Zealand's Josh Geary finished in outright third, just one shot behind Kennedy and Parry.
