Argentine golfer Cesar Monasterio clawed back a five-stroke deficit to win the St Omer Open in France yesterday, claiming his first European Tour title.
Monasterio, 42, closed with a four-under-par 67 to total a 10-under-par 274, a stroke ahead of overnight leader Henrik Nystrom of Sweden and South African Martin Maritz.
New Zealand's Stephen Scahill finished tied for 18th on three-under-par 281 after his final round 71, and compatriot Gareth Paddison totalled 285 after carding 71.
