Kiwi golfer Steven Alker is tied for 41st after the second round of the Web.com Tour's Hotel Fitness Championship in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Alker shot a two-under 70 to back up his first round 71, leaving him at three-under at the halfway point.
Alker's round included six birdies, but the good work was undone by a triple bogey on the par-three seventh.
American Sam Saunders leads the field at 12-under.
Alker has already secured his PGA Tour card for next year.
