Kiwi golfer Steven Alker has continued his good form at the Humana Challenge on the PGA Tour in California.
The Hamilton professional carded a three-under 69 during his third round today as he dipped slightly to a share of 16th at 13-under for the week.
The Humana Challenge is played across three courses and Alker, who went around the La Quinta Country Club today, made five birdies and two bogeys during his round.
Alker, who came in to the tournament in a share of 147th on the FedEx Cup standings, could jump up the ladder with a strong finish tomorrow. There's four players at the top of the leaderboard at 17-under.
Kiwi Danny Lee fired a two-under 70 at the PGA West Palmer Course today as he slipped to a share of 49th at nine-under.
