Kiwi golfer Steven Alker fired a three-under 67 during the final round of The McGladrey Classic on the PGA Tour in Georgia as he finished in a share of 32nd.
Alker's round today included seven birdies and four bogeys and he made a steady climb up the leaderboard to log his best result of the 2014-2015 season.
The 43-year-old will bank a few more valuable FedEx Cup points as the tour moves towards their first priority re-rank of playing rights next month.
Robert Streb won the tournament in Georgia after he made a birdie on the second hole of a three-way playoff to defeat Will MacKenzie and Brendon de Jonge. The trio finished the week at -14 before needing to play the extra holes to determine the winner.
