Kiwi golfer Steven Alker has finished with a steady one-under 70 during the final round of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open on the PGA Tour in Las Vegas.
The 43-year-old, who is back on the PGA Tour for the first time in more than a decade, finished in a share of 56th at five-under today and banked a few valuable FedEx Cup points. Fellow Kiwis Danny Lee and Tim Wilkinson missed the cut.
Alker was 15 shots back from winner Ben Martin (-20) who claimed victory by two strokes from Kevin Streelman. Martin's victory was his first on tour.
