Steven Alker has dropped down the leaderboard to a share of 48th following a one-over 71 during his third round of the PGA Tour's McGladrey Classic at Sea Island, Georgia.
The Kiwi golfer, who had two birdies and one bogey in his round today, is at three-under for the week, nine strokes back from co-leaders Andrew Svoboda and Will MacKenzie (-12).
Of the other Kiwis in the field, Danny Lee missed the cut, while Tim Wilkinson was disqualified after the second round yesterday for signing an incorrect scorecard. Wilkinson's first two rounds of 69 and 78 meant he would have missed the cut anyway.
Meanwhile, at the Perth International on the PGA Tour of Australasia, Nick Gillespie (T19th), Ryan Fox (T22nd) and Michael Long (T61st) were the only Kiwis to make the cut and they were all set to play their final rounds this afternoon. All three are well off the pace behind leader Thorbjorn Olesen (-16).
In China, Lydia Ko (-5) will begin the final round of the Blue Bay LPGA tournament six strokes back from co-leaders Jessica Korda and Lee-Anne Pace (-11). Ko is in a share of 12th place.
