Arrr me hearties. Most Aucklanders will know about this pirate-themed course out by the airport. There's a choice of two 18-hole courses which go through pirate ships and treasure caves, and past waterfalls and shark-infested waters.
2. Transylvania

This spooky indoor mini golf course has a "Transylvanian winter night" theme. The 12-hole glow-in-the-dark course has creepy sound effects, eerie music and features stories about the Romanian region. There is also a nine-hole outdoor course.
3. Gloputt

Glow-in-the-dark mini golf is so hot right now. Gloputt offers 14 holes of entertainment under blacklight, perfect for those gloomy wet days when you want to keep the kids entertained. There are also lasers, air hockey and pool tables on offer.
4. Jungleworld

A newcomer to Auckland's mini golf scene, Jungleworld's 18 holes are set in a tropical forest environment with features including a river, waterfall and glow-worm cave. The course is accompanied by jungle sounds, lighting and special effects.
5. Lilliputt

Auckland's original 18-hole mini golf course is still going strong - what it lacks in gimmicks, it makes up for in location. Its former skid-car track has been turned into an additional 18-hole course.
