Tiger Woods has been photographed outside a rehabilitation clinic in Mississippi, according to reports.
Radaronline.com says that the photos, purported to be of Woods, appear in the latest issue of the National Enquirer.
The site has posted eight photos of a man resembling Woods, wearing a baseball cap and hooded sweatshirt. It is believed that he is standing outside the Pine Grove clinic in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
If they are authentic, the photos would be the first public images of the disgraced golfer since he crashed his car near the Florida home he shared with his wife, Elin Nordegren, and their two children.
Woods' last public appearance was at a Stanford University engagement in November, shortly before the accident which set off a spectacular fall from grace. Accusations of marital infidelity followed, to which Woods eventually confessed.
Woods announced in December that he would take an indefinite hiatus from golf while he tried to repair his broken marriage. It has been claimed that Elin threatened to return to her native Sweden with children Sam, 2, and Charlie, six months, if he did not seek help.
Officials at the clinic would neither confirm nor deny his presence, citing state privacy law as the reason. A photo at the Daily Mail's website shows a worker erecting an extra-high wall of sheeting around the clinic.
Woods is expected to complete a six-week rehabilitation programme.
