Phil Mickelson warmed up for The Open at Carnoustie by performing an outrageous trick shot which involved clipping a ball over a brave volunteer's head from just a couple of feet away.
The five-time Major winner showed off his flop shot party piece with former European Tour pro Gary Evans the slightly foolish patsy.
Evans, twice a top 10 finisher in The Open, had to stand like a statue and braced himself with a nervous smile as Mickelson pulled back his wedge.
