New Zealands Danny Lee has found form to card a superb round of five-under, 66 on the PGA Tour and jump into a tie of sixth place at the RBC Heritage this morning.
Its been a long time coming for one of the countrys most successful professional, so to card seven birdies in his second round has set him up for an exciting weekend.
With a tournament total of seven-under, he is just two shots behind young leader Si Woo Kim of Korea and Englands Ian Polter who has taken his career to another level with his recent lift to form.
Lee made four birdies in six holes through the middle of his round which set him up for his best start to an event this season as he looks to attack the weekend and give himself the best chance of claiming his second PGA Tour title after winning the Greenbrier Classic in 2015.
The 27-year-old has already missed seven cuts in 13 starts this season, (including one WD) so the Rotorua professional who has slipped to 169th in the world rankings will have to cash in on this great start as he looks to launch his year into gear.
