Hawkes Bay golfer Barry Vivian is one shot off the pace going into the final round of the £110,000 ($371,187) Jersey Seniors Masters.
England's Denis Durnian moved into the lead in the penultimate round, after starting the day one of eight players tied at the top of the leaderboard.
Durnian had a 70 on the blustery links for a five-under total of 139. That saw him one ahead of Vivian, Jamaica's Delroy Cambridge, South Africa's Bobby Verwey and defending champion Neil Coles.
Another New Zealander, Simon Owen, slipped to four shots off the pace after a 74 yesterday.
