Former Warriors player Ian Henderson has suffered an horrific leg break on Thursday, which has all but ended his season just three games in.
The 32-year-old, now playing for the Sydney Roosters after a stint in England's Super League, attempted to tackle North Queensland Cowboys star Ethan Lowe in the dying minutes when his right leg bucked underneath him.
The former Catalans and Warriors player was left in agony moments later before medical staff rushed onto the field, where they could assess the situation.
There was clear concern over the condition of Henderson, with an ambulance brought on to the field after the final whistle.
