Ford National Hockey League finals day LIVE on SKY Sport

Exciting news for hockey fans with the 2016 Ford National Hockey League finals coming LIVE to SKY Sport this September.

Televised games include the Womens K Cup Final and Mens Challenge Shield Final, along with the respective bronze medal games, which will all be played at the Whangarei ITM Hockey Centre on Saturday 17th September.

Round 1 and 2 of the Ford NHL take place throughout the country from 27th August - 4th September, before all teams converge in Whangarei for Rounds 3 to 7 and finals.

Last years Challenge Shield was won by the Capital Cobras who defeated Southern in a shoot-out, while the Auckland Women took out the K Cup with a dominant 6-0 result over hosts Northland.

Earlybird tournament passes are still available online through www.hockeynz.co.nz and are cheaper than purchasing at the gate. Daily passes will be available at the gate only.
