LONDON (AP) West Ham striker Andy Carroll has injured his right foot again on the day he resumed full training with the Premier League club.
The England international signed a six-year deal worth 15.5 million pounds ($24 million) this summer after spending last season on loan with the Hammers from Liverpool.
Carroll has yet to play a game with the London club this season. West Ham did not say how long he will be out of action after he picked up the injury on Monday "in the same part of his foot as his previous injury."
Carroll was hampered by various injuries last season but still managed to play 24 league games and scored seven times for West Ham.
