Soccer: Stand-off continues at the Knights

The Danny Hay-NZ Knights soccer saga is not over.

Yesterday's meeting between the disgruntled Hay and his A-League club has not created any sort of resolution.

Beforehand the meeting was a bit of a mystery, with the Professional Footballers Association saying there was one and the Knights not acknowledging it.

However, both parties now say discussions did go ahead, but there has been no settlement, or contract pay out for Danny Hay.

It is understood Hay has had serious problems with the way things are being run at the Knights, and wants out.

The PFA and the club will continue to try to come to a resolution over the coming days.
