The Wellington Phoenix continued their impressive pre-season form with a 3-0 win over Sydney FC yesterday.
New signing Kenny Cunningham opened the scoring in the 37th minute before two late goals to Hamish Watson and Paul Ifill secured the win.
The Phoenix have now played three pre-season matches against A-League opposition, and have conceded only two goals.
Two weeks ago Western Sydney Wanderers scored two goals in the last five minutes to beat them 2-1, before the Phoenix overcame the Newcastle Jets 1-0 three days later.
The Phoenix's A-League season gets underway in against Brisbane Roar in Wellington on October 13.
