KEY POINTS:
Wellington Phoenix soccer midfielder Troy Hearfield has been suspended for two matches by the A-League's independent match review panel.
The panel issued its decision today after it reviewed the red card Hearfield picked up during his side's 0-1 loss to Sydney FC in Sydney last Saturday.
Hearfield was also found guilty of violent conduct stemming from a first half incident involving Sydney striker Alex Brosque and was issued with another two-match ban that will run concurrently.
Hearfield will next be available for week one of the finals series should Wellington qualify.
