Soccer: Phoenix draws with Adelaide

The Wellington Phoenix have drawn one-all with Adelaide United in their A-League football match in South Australia.

Adelaide struck first through Brazilian fullback Alemao in the 57th minute, before the Phoenix equalised through an own goal 20 minutes later.

The result does little for either sides' finals chances. The Phoenix remain eighth on the ladder with 22 points, with Adelaide a point further back in ninth.
