KEY POINTS:
A defensive blunder from Wellington Phoenix gifted Central Coast Mariners a 2-1 A-League soccer win today.
The game seemed destined to end 1-1 before Sasho Petrovski produced the winner in the 91st minute after Jeremy Christie made a total hash of clearing the ball.
It instead fell at Petrovski's feet before he calmly rounded goalkeeper Glen Moss, who had no chance to prevent the matchwinner.
Petrovski had earlier erred himself when pushing a 65st-minute penalty shot wide to the right of Moss.
Dean Heffernan opened the scoring for the Mariners in the 16th minute before his effort was cancelled out by a fine strike from Wellington's Ahmad Elrich in the 24th minute.
