Rugged New Zealand Knights midfielder Jonas Salley is likely to be sidelined for about three weeks after damaging his right ankle in the 3-0 A-League loss to the Melbourne Victory last weekend.
X-rays showed no significant bone damage but Salley had an MRI scan yesterday to get a better idea when he will be fit to return.
The Knights, with a draw, a win and a loss behind them, travel to Brisbane for their fourth round match against the Queensland Roar on Friday night.
