A-League soccer club the New Zealand Knights today announced the appointment of a new chief executive after the resignation of Guy Hedderwick.
Auckland businessman Steve O'Hara will take over from Hedderwick, who has been at the club since its inception.
Hedderwick said he had achieved his original aim of getting the Knights up and running and had decided some time ago to pursue a new challenge.
The South African, who will remain on the club's board, said he expected to stay in sports management.
