KEY POINTS:
With the longest journey to play a league match behind them, the New Zealand Knights will wake up in Perth this morning and contemplate how, tomorrow night, they can turn around another season from hell.
But with Kiwis Adrian Webster, Leo Bertos and Jeremy Christie all on the Glory books and all certain to play, there will again be an added edge to the game and Knights' mission.
Forced to make the long trek for the second time in seven weeks and mindful they lost only 1-0 at Members Equity Stadium last month - the last of three straight 1-0 losses from round five - the Knights see this game against the team closest to them on the Hyundai A-League points table as their best chance of picking up a morale-boosting point or three.
Influential midfielder Jonas Salley, back after a lengthy injury break, has travelled but is no certainty to play.
"It's nice to have someone of Jonas' calibre but he's still not quite right," said coach Barry Simmonds.
"It's obviously a boost and his addition comes at a good time as our midfield is missing two key men in Scot Gemmill and Richard Johnson."
Defender Gregory Duruz returns from suspension and is likely to play at left back, which would allow Noah Hickey to take a more attacking role.
Perth Glory midfielder Simon Colosimo misses this match through suspension.
Bertos has been dominant in the Perth midfield and will come in for close attention from the Knights, who continue to show some promise at times but all too often fail to deliver.
Simmonds opted for Michael Turnbull in goal for last week's game against Central Coast Mariners.
It will be interesting to see if Mark Paston, who did well in his two outings before Simmonds' arrival, will get a recall this week.
