CEO Steve O'Hara has announced he is resigning from the Knights' soccer franchise. He leaves the club just seven months after taking over from Guy Hedderwick.
O'Hara follows manager John Adshead in leaving the club, before the start of the second A-League season.
In a statement released by Steve O'Hara, he says the past seven months have been fraught with difficulties from day one, when he discovered the disastrous state the club was in.
O'Hara says he was committed to the club until the end of the next season, but Football Australia is essentially controlling the Knights and it no longer needs his services.
