Ifill's been left out of the Wellington Phoenix squad for tomorrow night's home A-League meeting with the Newcastle Jets due to a groin injury.
Herbert says he's not prepared to rush his striker back.
He says they'll be careful with him and he's
more likely to feature in back-to-back games after Christmas.
