Soccer: Hickey's knee injury improving

New Zealand Knights winger Noah Hickey is set to return from a knee injury and be available for selection against Melbourne on Sunday.

Hickey has missed both games so far in the current A-League season.

Knights coach Paul Nevin says it now creates a difficult selection quandary. Nevin says it is a great situation for him to have with good players coming back into a side that has had a positive result.

Nevin says Hickey should be back into proper training in the next couple of days.

Paul Nevin says the recovery of Dani Rodriguez is ahead of schedule, but he is still two weeks away from a return.

The Knights have signed Australian Franco Parisi on a temporary contract as cover for injured defender Matt Carbon.
