Nathan Greenham has resigned as CEO of the Wellington Phoenix.
Greenham's been at the club since day one and has been chief executive when the club's inaugural boss Tony Pignata returned to Australia.
It's been a difficult tenure for him as he was forced to repeatedly answer questions on the ever increasing financial problems of former owner Terry Serepisos.
Throughout that time, he remained loyal and presented a positive image of the club to fans, media and sponsors.
It's not known if Greenham has another job to go to, but in an email he says he's off to new pastures.
