British striker Chris Greenacre is poised to return to the Wellington Phoenix starting line-up for tomorrow night's A-League football match against the Victory in Melbourne.
Greenacre has not started for the club since late November and only returned from injury last week.
Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert says they are likely to make a couple of changes to their 11 and bringing in Greenacre is one of them. Herbert says they are being patient with Greenacre and are leaning towards pairing him up front with Eugene Dadi.
Vince Lia will miss the match through suspension, meaning Herbert will also have to reshuffle his midfield.
Meanwhile, North Queensland midfielder Jeremy Brockie is hopeful his latest injury setback will not dent his chances of being selected in the All Whites' World Cup squad.
Brockie broke his leg in just the second minute of North Queensland's A-League match against the Brisbane Roar, however he believes he has a chance to make the squad in time for the June event.
Brockie says he has been told he could be back playing somewhere between eight and 10 weeks after surgery and a rehab program.
