Soccer: Gold Coast not concerned with losing Smeltz

Gold Coast United is not losing any sleep over the possible departure of All Whites striker Shane Smeltz.

Smeltz is off contract at the end of this season and already several teams have indicated their interest to secure his services, including Wellington Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert.

Gold Coast coach Miron Bleiberg isn't concerned about losing the former A-League golden boot.

Bleiberg says his advice to his friend is to do what ever is good for Shane Smeltz.

Smeltz has returned to the Gold Coast twice this season, following unsuccessful stints in China and Turkey.
