Soccer: Confusion continues for Knights and Danny Hay

The "smoke and mirrors" surrounding outcast star player Danny Hay and his relationship with the Knights continues.

There is confusion over whether the conflict between the former captain and the A-League soccer club will be resolved at a meeting today.

No one quite knows what Hay and the Knights are at odds over, although it appears to be a money issue, and the prospect of a contract pay out.

Hay has not been involved in recent practices or the last two games.

Professional Footballers Association boss John Didulica believes there will be a meeting this afternoon with the Knights, regarding Hay.

However, the Knights refuse to acknowledge the meeting and are surprised to hear the PFA has said there is one.

The Knights are making no comment on the actual issue, and its resolution, until it is over.
