Coach Ricki Herbert is taking the blame squarely on his shoulders for the Wellington Phoenix' form slump in the A-League.

Herbert's coming under increasing pressure as the Phoenix battle in eighth spot on the ladder with just four wins so far this season.

He says the buck stops with him.

Herbert says he has no problem taking the responsibility and being accountable.

The Phoenix have a double header this week, playing the Melbourne Heart tomorrow night and the Melbourne Victory on Saturday.
