Things are going from bad to worse for the New Zealand Knights in soccer's A-league.
They have been beaten 3-nil by the lowly Jets in Newcastle.
The Knights did keep the Jets scoreless until defender Jade North found the back of the net for the home side in the 72nd minute.
The floodgates then opened as Newcastle added two more goals to lift themselves off the bottom of the ladder during round eight.
The result relegates the Knights to last place and continues their miserable run of having not won a match or scored a goal in six matches.
