In normal circumstances, Wellington Phoenix fans would be gearing up for a first home A-League finals match in five years. But when 2020 is remembered and reflected upon, normal will be the last way anyone will describe it.
After a season that was halted in mid-March and rebooted four months later, the top six are locked in for one final, furious, frantic sprint. The A-League playoffs, normally spread over three weekends, have been condensed into just eight days, starting with Wellington's do-or-die clash against Perth Glory tonight.
