Michael McGlinchey will train with the Wellington Phoenix from tomorrow.
McGlinchey, who has long been a transfer target of the Phoenix, has been on holiday with family in Wellington after being released by his Japanese club Vengalta Sendai in May.
The All Whites midfielder will train with the Phoenix until his contract status with the Central Coast Mariners is resolved.
A month ago it looked like the Phoenix had secured McGlinchey's signature but the deal was not officially confirmed.
The Phoenix said in a statement they will make no further comment on the matter.
